Holy. Shit. I'm still here. My heart practically exploded out of my chest I was so scared going over results. Anyway, here's my whole understanding of the situation.
The vote was originally on Ami, and it was going to be either 5-2 or 5-1-1 with two split votes on Greg or one on Greg/one on someone else. Then, Penner told Sean about it without letting Dave or I know, and we got pissed (more so Dave). Penner also told Sean he'd split a vote onto Sean (it was a typo), which understandably freaked Sean out. Dave then got Sean and Greg, and we all decided we were going to vote Penner out. Greg let us know Penner pulled in Ami, and told us that they were going to vote Dave, so Sean said he was going to play his idol on Dave. Then, we heard the vote was going to be on Sean, so Sean played his idol on himself. Results come out, there are 3 Borassi votes (Penner, Ami, and Greg), 3 Penner votes (Sean, Dave, and I), with Alexis voting for Sean. Now, the re-vote rolls along. Sean brings up that Greg/Penner have a pre-game relationship and it suddenly makes sense why Greg flipped on us. Then, Greg told us that he was flipping back and this was to gain Alexis and Ami's trust1. Penner gets all cocky and thinks he's safe, and then is blindsided 3-2, with Sean, Greg, and Dave voting to keep me.

While all of this was going down, I was talking to Erik, JFP, Steph, and LJ, and was pretty much throwing Ami/Penner/Greg under the bus to them hardcore, and doing my best to make sure they'd take Ami out if I did go home. All four were varying levels of sad, but JFP kind of seemed to have a semblance on the pulse of the entire situation. LJ, Steph, and Erik were all just pissed and wanted to take Ami out, but JFP was trying to protect Ami and was telling me if I survived I need to take Alexis out instead. It really put the situation in perspective, and I like LJ, Steph, and Erik a lot more. I don't trust JFP at all after this, and his stupid idol hunt is also really annoying2. His reaction to this was "WHERE IS THE IDOL". Dude, I'm getting voted out for all you know, why is that your priority?
Now Malcolm is here, with idol in tow, so going back to Tribal could make this even messier and shittier than before. I'm really, really hoping that Greg is firmly with us and we can pull Alexis in, who doesn't seem choked up over Penner leaving, and that we can avoid having to deal with this shit anymore. I escaped death once, and I don't want to have to do it again.
1: I think Greg actually was going to vote me out, but when Alexis wasn't online and able to switch her vote, he panicked and then flipped back. I dodged a really close bullet and it doesn't make sense he'd fuck us and then fuck them in quick succession. If Greg also has a vote against him due to the pre-game thing, he could possibly be their target in the event of a vote. I don't trust the bastard at all, and I really hope we have some chance of taking him out sooner rather than later. If we could theoretically get Ami, Malcolm, or their idol out, I'd love to turn on him.
2: I think JFP is aligned with Ami, and one of them has the idol. He was so sure she had it, and one day just did a complete 180 and said she absolutely didn't have it. Now, that's a little strange, but the weirdest part is all he seems to care about is finding the damn Leno idol. I think he might have it, or at least knows where the idol is and is trying to use his obsessive idol hunt thing as a way to deflect it off of him. He's another person I want gone as soon as possible.
When I talk to JFP
All in all, after this I know who I want to work with. Dave, Sean, Steph, Erik, and LJ for sure, and then even Alexis if we can get on the same page and come to an understanding. JFP, Greg, and Ami are all on my shitlist, and I'm hoping I can axe all three myself, and hopefully pre-merge. I don't want to have to deal with their shit for much longer. Now, here's hoping that I can either win some shit or work some more magic and stay alive awhile longer. I don't need a heart attack.
