Here we go. The merge. I survived all the way to the merge. Things were constantly messy on Backstreet, so I'm a little surprised and very, very relieved to be here.
So, the last vote. Greg panicked because Alexis said she played the idol on herself and he voted Malcolm like an idiot and got sent home. Had I been on, I think I could've told him that Alexis/Malcolm clearly didn't trust the guy because he always tried to form a plan with the minority and always lied to them, and they also tried voting him out last round. He wasn't the brightest player in the cast, and he's out solely due to his own stupidity. I love it when that happens, even though Greg was in my alliance. It's funnier to lose an ally to a stupid reason than vote someone out in the minority in the most predictable way possible. After the vote, Alexis tried to save face and I don't really care. It's clear that we aren't really allies, and while I understand and respect booting Greg, it's obvious she and I aren't on the same page. We're only allies in name, but not in nature.
As for the merge, my goal is to grab Steph, LJ, and Erik. Coupled with Sean and Dave, we have a solid group, and can take out an easy vote or two first, like Lindsey or Danielle, and establish a majority. From there, I'll just kind of fuck around. Just need to make this shit a done deal, and not die. I might try for this first immunity just to make sure that I won't go home, because making the jury is my general priority.

So I named the merge tribe Costanza because I decided to be /mischief/. I thought it fit, because Seinfeld is in the 90's (and they didn't like Rupert Was Robbed or Borassi or A Tribe Called Quest), but Steph said Dawson Creek (not even Dawson's) and Dolly translated Friends into "Chinese" (and said it was generic Chinese after I asked which language). Those were both stupid as shit, so I told Erik to back me up. Erik changed the tribe chat name, I sent a note to Kenny to tell him it was official, and Alexis agreed. Steph and Dolly can suck Costanza's T-Rex because they got outplayed like some stupid idiots.
Erik made an alliance with Dave, Sean, Dolly, Danielle, and I. Dolly and Danielle? Really? Danielle is almost never on AIM, to the point where I've talked to her once this entire game. I also haven't talked to Dolly since the 2nd or 3rd round? I don't like this group. Instead, I'd prefer Sean, Dave, Erik, Stephanie, and LJ. Even Alexis or Malcolm is better than Dolly or Danielle. Ideally we don't need to make a surefire majority and can just choose to vote out some poor unfortunate moderately inactive scrub.

Figures, my activity drops right when we merge. I'm running sound for a short film all of Saturday and most of Sunday, leaving today as my only day to get school stuff done. It's also a Friday, one of the least active days of the week in the ORG world. I'm just hoping that this can be an easy, clean vote and my fat ass can make the jury. Generally most games announce when the jury phase has started, so if there isn't an announcement right at the merge, you can count on some added nerves. People usually want at least jury when they play, so I'm hoping people can remain calm and not do anything too stupid. Make this an easy vote, and we won't really have to worry about anything getting messy.
