This is a math game! Yay math!
You are going to be give a map of Circles. On this map, the circles are going to be surrounded by different coloured lines. These lines represent different mathematical operators!
Blue = Multiplication
Red = Subtraction
Green = Addition
You must place the numbers 0 to 10 into these circles in a way that will give you the highest score!
Now, how is scoring done?
Each circle will be scored by taking the starting number you have put in it and then applying the mathematical operator to the starting number in each circle connected to it! (I will give a small example shortly).
The operators will be done in this order for any given circle: Multiplication, Subtraction, then Addition. (The important bit being multiplication first).
Example Time! I have completed a small version of the game using numbers 0-3 in a nonideal fashion, but this is just an example, so I just want to show you have this works!
We will start with scoring the top left circle with the 1 in it. So, doing multiplication first, we have 1 x 3 x 0, which will give us 0. Then we have subtract 2, so we subtract 2 from the 0, resulting in a total of -2 points scored for that circle.
In the top right circle, we have subtraction first of 2 - 1 - 0, which gives us 1. Then an addition of 3, so 1 + 3, for a total of 4 scored points in the top right circle.
The bottom left circle first multiplies with 1, so 3 x 1, giving us 3. Then adds to 2 and 0. So 3 + 2 + 0, giving us a score of 5 for that circle.
Finally, the bottom right circle first multiplies with 1, giving 0. Then subtracts 2, giving -2, and finally adds 3, giving a score of 1 for that circle.
Adding all circles up we get a total of 8 points scored for that puzzle. And that's how this game is done! Except on a much larger scale!
Here is your Circle Map to fill out with numbers 0 to 10! Best of luck, I'll be giving you until 11PM EST to complete this.
