Welcome to the tribal council. In case you lost it in your confessional, here is the parchment paper you will use to submit your vote. Post your edited parchment (use paint/photoshop/pixlr/aviary (an app for mobile users!) - ask for help if you need) and a brief reason of why you are casting your vote in your confessional. You have until Sunday at 6PM EST to vote!
Remember, you may NOT vote for Sean as he has Individual Immunity this round.
Dolly will have a single penalty vote placed on her this round. This penalty vote does not carry over into a revote, and does not affect her own vote.
Here are some questions for you all to answer (here! in public!)!
Alexis: The only female left from Backstreet Boys. What do you think of the gender dynamics in the game of Survivor and how do they translate to in-game decisions? Is there a divide, subconsciously or consciously?
Erik and Danielle: Have you began thinking about how to get to the end of the game? How about once you're there?
Dolly: You have a penalty vote this round. Do you think it's going to affect the vote?
Dave: Yet again back at Tribal Council, and no immunity here. Do you think you needed it?
Lindsey, LJ, Fairplay, and Stephanie: You all have avoided TC this entire game. What's it like being in merge and having your first one? Malcolm and Mike: What becomes important now that it is the merge of the game? Are loyalties shifting? Game dynamic changing?
Sean: This is the very first Tribal Council this game that you are immune! Was it needed? How does it feel?
Your votes are due Sunday at 6PM EST.

You all have avoided TC this entire game. What's it like being in merge and having your first one? First off can I say something? Love the design of this Tribal Council area, it's so roomy it just feels nice to be in, sad to say I missed it this whole time
Oh yea your question, well my plan from the start was to win all immunities ever and Colby the shit out of everyone, however I now get to say something I thought I would never say. FatBoySlim prevented my perfect run of Immunity. So I guess I actually gotta TALK to people now GOOOODDUUH. So yea destiny denied but it's all good we'll see how this vote goes and hope for the best!

I definitely didn't expect to be immune until merge. It was nice, but it's also a wake up call now being vunerable to go home

Kinda sucks being here. All of us were voted out in our original season. (except for Mike because he got heart attack in Samoa or something) so we all know that here anything can happen and torch one of us will be snuffed... Again so it kinda sucks. But being on merge is awesome!! And we all here are happy that we can say we made merge at least.

I'm so excited to be here. Of course when you are in a game of survivor you have to ensure that you never go to tribal you know what I'm saying? Cuz you never know what might happen. So me avoiding tribal was all part of my plan because I wanted to ensure i made the merge. Now that i'm at the merge and having this tribal council, it makes me really nervous because this will be my first tribal and I don't know what to expect.

Just gotta point out I'm the only Leno standing who didn't get the fun immunity question. Still, it means I won't get RC'd.
The merge is a massive shift, and loyalty is really what becomes the most important thing. I don't know if loyalty is shifting much, but the game is gonna be different.

Erik: Have you began thinking about how to get to the end of the game? How about once you're there?
Yes. I think it would be in my best interests to avoid getting voted out in all the tribal councils prior to then. And once I'm there, hopefully I can do things that will help me to beat the other finalists. so yeah, there's definitely a gameplay in place.

Wow, I'm really impressed with the quality of the Tribal questions this round! First, I love that you brought up the subconscious. I don't think any of us would look at somebody playing as Cirie, for example, and consciously think they're going to be shit at challenges. However, we make these subconscious connections between things in our mind. If somebody is playing as Parvati, for example, that could make you an early target because one's mind may connect her likeness to her gameplay from the show. In regards to gender, there actually is some evidence of it playing a role. A lot of the times, you'll see a strong group of males get together early on, and it definitely can cause a divide. It's hilarious, too, 'cause let's be real . . . we're pretty much all dudes here outside of the game. It's definitely interesting to think about and witness, though.

Um... does anybody ever not think about how to get to the end of the game? Isn't getting to the end the entire point? This question is like asking a Monopoly player if they've thought about getting more money than everybody else, or playing Clue and asking if anybody's thinking about who knocked off Mister Boddy. Why yes, I have actually thought about that.
As for what I'd do when I get there, I'm not thinking about that at all. It's so far off, and there are so many things that could happen between now and then, it just seems silly to waste the mental energy wondering what I'd say.

Dolly: My penalty-vote has been bothering me ever since I received it. Well, I DO think it'll effect SOMETHING, but I'm just really hoping it doesn't get me voted off because I love this game and I really want to at least get to the Jury stage.

www.youtube.com/watch?t=1&v=OGnE83A1Z4UBasically what I'm trying to say here by posting this video is that now more than ever, we have to determine who we can trust and who is attempting to deprive us of Medicare. Apparently someone gets eliminated at every TC so I think having 1 less person is going to be a change in the game's dynamic. \o/

Well I was at a wedding all day yesterday on top of the time zone distance, so I probably could've used immunity if people see that as an easy boot. I'll be back on campus and on my computer before the votes are due but who knows by that point, you know?
