Heya folks. First off, it's practially obligatory at this point - congrats to both Danielle and Malcolm on making it to the F2. I know how incredibly difficult it is to get there, and neither of you simply lucked into that spot. Whoever between you loses, I just want you to know - you didn’t play a bad game. You honestly, sincerely, did not, and don’t bum yourself out about it, ok?

ANYWAY, y’know what's been kinda bugging me? Everyone seems to be ragging hard on Danielle, and I get where they're coming from, really I do. I didn’t exchange a single word on one-on-one AIM with her, as far as I can remember (I mean I could check but pfft that’s effort) but y’all wanna know something? Danielle wasn’t some fucking ghost. I distinctly remember night one, when everyone was chatting away - and you wanna know what one of my impressions was? “Hey, Danielle is kinda witty, seems like a funny guy/gal/whatever. If we end up on the same tribe, maybe I’ll work with her, I think she’ll be a force.”

So when I later found out Danielle was perceived as some inactive floater, I was a tad confused, but I just shrugged it off. Lil was in a fantastic spot, and she went inactive - what happens, happens. I didn’t concern myself with it, carried on in the clusterfuck that was the Backstreet Boys, and merged. We all know how that went, and Danielle would have left the round Mike went barring oh, I dunno, a colossal mistake from some ice cream scooper. COULD BE ANYONE WHO KNOWS. I went soon after, and I’ve had a lot of time to sit and jury, and think about things.

I don’t think Danielle is necessarily a winner candidate. But, reading through these threads, the sheer vitriol being thrown at her is staggering. She’s there, we’re not, and as much we complain and complain about her being inactive, she is UP THERE, FIGHTING RIGHT NOW for the title. Stop bitching - if your not gonna vote for her, end the fucking charade and just say outright Malcolm has the vote, don’t make them both jump through a bunch of hoops. I love all of y’all, but this is getting a bit ludicrous, dontcha think?

Danielle, I’m incredibly impressed by your fight this FTC against the staggering odds placed against you, and I think you were incredibly self-aware of your position in the game, for quite some time at that. I’m OK giving my vote to you, as much as this jury would be AGHAST at such a proclamation. In fact, right now, you have my vote. I don’t necessarily think being sick excuses your lack of presence, but it’s certainly a valid reason, and not something to be utterly dismissed. Keep fighting, and even if you ultimately lose this game - you didn’t play some atrocious game. It wasn’t fantastic, but it got you to the F2 - and hell, maybe it got you a few votes. And fuck, anything can happen - maybe it’ll be enough.

Malcolm, show me right now, right here - fight for your win. Because, looking at your answers, you’re just resting at your laurels. The game isn’t over yet, the votes aren’t tallied yet. SHOW me why you deserve to win, that you still want this, that your still fighting, in however you deem fit, and I’ll consider voting for you.

I’m voting for whoever has the better FTC, because neither of your social games were all that great with me. Whoever shows they want this more, gets my vote. Best of luck to both of y’all. Fantastic game, everybody.

So you didn't take anything out of our anime, college, Survivor T.V. show, ect. talks? Sad to hear that you weren't the biggest Malcolm fan. You can't say; however, that I didn't put forth the effort to try and bond with you.

In my experience playing anonymous Survivor games, I have never been able to pull off a win because I have either represented myself as too big of a threat, or I turned into a follower and let people make decisions around me. The one time I made final tribal council, I ended up paying the price for being too loyal and taking a strong #1 ally to the end. Winning THIS game means a whole lot to me. I have always strived to redeem myself for all those stupid mistakes I have made in the past and this was the game really I went balls to the wall to try and achieve that. Since Day 1 of this thing, I have fought tooth and nail not to get a pre-jury finish, not to earn a spot on the jury, and to definitely not come in second place again; but to be the winner of Survivor Decades. I have always been playing for first. Every day I would wake up in my bed and think to myself -- what can I do to improve my relationships here, what is the next best move for my game, and how can I go about succeeding in those areas.

So cool, Danielle is fighting hard at this FTC. I have been fighting my ass off for two months to make it here in my hopes of finally prevailing. I have done all the right things to get myself in this spot I'm in right now through social, strategic, and physical means. Let me reassure you though that I know very well that doesn't give me an excuse to soften up now. That fight inside of me will not go out until Kenny reads off those votes. I value every single jury vote so you better be damn sure that your vote is important to me. I wouldn't be responding to this at 7am before school if I didn't care about addressing you.

You are a respectable player, Dave. I can see that and I know others do as well. I expect that you will think over this decision logically. When you enter your vote into that vote urn, exercise your power as a juror to cast your vote for the player you believe played the better game. That's all either of us finalists can ever truly ask for.

That's a fair argument, although I felt like that was one great convo in a sea of nothing else. Regardless, you're a super nice guy, and I respect you fighting for my vote. Best of luck to both of you, I have a bit of thinkin' to do before I submit.
