1. If I’m choosing between a move that is smart or entertaining, always, ALWAYS go for entertaining. UGH SO TORN. I guess I'll save the fireworks for later, when it'd have more impact. Goddamit I'm awful at being a pre-merge boot.

Synopsis: (Feeling lazy soooooo)
- Tribes swapped, Sean was a bro, got me a bunch of allies. - My tribe sucks at Tic Tac Toe. - Ami is getting the majority of votes; I'm voting Greg in case of an idol, and Mike's gonna take the blame for it to try ans get the other tribe to throw. - Malcolm is gonna be joining our tribe, so we might need to blindside Penner if we go to TC again, given his idol and all.

So Sean comes up to me. "Is there a secret chat? Are you voting for Greg?" I'm like uhhhhhh, no. He's like "oh well Penner told me you were."
SERIOUSLY MAN? I was willing to work with you, but if your gonna transparently play both sides, try to get closer with MY ally (who, I should note, has NO loyalty to you) and patently IGNORE the plan for Mike to take the blame for the vote? FUCK YOU DUDE.
For the longest time I was like "Haha oh Penner he's bad at the game and crazy, but at least he's with me and Mike." But I'm starting to think it might be time for a blindside, if he's gonna go completely insane. 4th boot after all.

FUCK. I saw I had some crunchyroll guest passes, so I was like, oh it'll be fun to give these out in the groupchat, get convo's rolling, etc. What I DIDN'T know, however, was that it showed your username, and my username is the same as my main AIM. And Mike saw it. -_- GODDAMIT, I HAD HIM FOOLED TOO!

FINAL 14This has been a very UTR round for me. I had plans last night, so I hopped off after doing my (incredibly easy) part in the challenge. We lost, mostly because of Greg, but I noticed he had a penalty vote, so I honestly felt pretty damn safe. The Alexis/Malcolm/Ami group, if they went against us, would dogpile on Greg because of that, so I don’t have to particularly worry about getting idol’d out. So, I went and did other stuff, and let these insane people figured it out for me. Basically, Ami went to my group and was like “yo we GOTTA blindside Mike, he has the idol!” And everyone else is like “uhhhhhh sure, you wanna throw your vote just in case Mike idols?” Ami, because it’s not like she’s on the outs or the wrong side of last vote or anything (o wait) said she’s gonna throw her vote on Alexis - might not still be the plan, but that’s what I’ve heard. From what I’m hearing its basically, Malc/Alexis/Ami apparently think it’s a Mike blindside, (even though Alexis went to Mike wanting an alliance, which kinda confuses me) Greg is gonna grab a penalty vote, and our four are voting for Ami. Greg is also working on getting Malc to blow his idol on him, but I’m not entirely sure how’d that pan out, especially if they think it’s a 6-1-1 vote. I think a big issue with this plan is, even though I’m feeling confident it will work, is that all the fine details have been left to Greg. If he keeps those 3’s votes on Mike, he can just flip and take Mike out, 4-3-1. Giving him most of the access to Alexis/Malcolm is probs a bit of an issue, but not a ton that can be done about it at this point. Short confessional, but again, been a veeeeeeery UTR round for me. Dialing back my presence a little at the moment. Here have a gif in recompense. (I have a deep fascination with this gif and I don't entirely know why.)

OK, so I’ve REALLY been bailing hard on these confessionals, and I’m sorry for that. The thing is, my game has, in COMPLETE OPPOSITION to what I planned, gone completely under the radar. Like, I wouldn’t be surprised if I was a goat at this point, because I am just not around. * Flashbacks to States: Delaware *
However, not all is lost, because until this merge vote, things seemed pretty sedate. Malcolm/Alexis campaigned hard to the others and that got Greg voted out, but it wasn’t due to some massive paradigm shift. It was a bluff they used against Sean, no one was around to reassure him, he made a dumb choice, Greg bit the bullet. O well so sad, dude was overplaying anyway and there were talks to get him out soooooooo yeah.
Last round was a definite paradigm shift, though. I was unilaterally told it was gonna be JFP (granted, I only talked to a handful of people) so I was just like, fuck it, YOLO. Voted JFP, and then Dolly is blindsided 7-6 due to a penalty vote. FRIGGEN AWESOME, solid move by JFP, even if it hurts my game. I glad someone who was more or less inactive got the boot, although it does leave me in a bit of a predicament.
Stephenie told Erik she had just thrown her vote on Dolly thinking it was an idol, but now he’s saying he’s not sure where she’s at. Erik is basically calling the shots, which I’m more than happy with since I’m not invested enough to lead stuff (super busy atm) AND it puts him at the front of the target list. He’s saying campaign to Malcolm and Alexis, who have pretty decently positioned themselves as swing votes, so I’ll be the loyal soldier and go talk to them. Probably amounts to nothing, but it’s worth something.
If this vote goes south (which it almost assuredly will, I feel, because our communication is a fucking shitstorm) then I basically just gotta dead fish for a few votes. Or just go full Zane. Whatever I’m in the mood for I guess, cuz god knows I’m not making it to FTC at this rate, let alone winning.
The structure of the game eludes me to an extent, but here’s what I’m seeing:
Me/Sean/Erik/Mike are seen as a tight four.
Danielle is seen as a tag-along fifth.
JFP/LJ/Lindsey are tight.
Stephanie is either with us, or part of the JFP/LJ/Lindsey unit. Probably the latter.
Malcolm/Alexis are with the other group, but positioned as the swings. Given how frequently we tried to eliminate them on Backstreet Boys, they are probably more inclined to boot one of us, even if they later indulge in some Tony shenanigans.
That’s my read on the situation anyway. Probably wildly inaccurate since there’s still a solid portion of people I need to chat with in more detail (or at all, hi swing steph, i'm the great orger dave) before I get a better read on the situation. I’ll try and help get my group in power this go ‘round, but if that doesn’t work out, it’s all about making myself useful to swings.

So they were telling us Sean is the vote, but Stephanie just told me point blank it was Mike. I put some pressure on her, and she was like "Is there ANYTHING you can use to save Mike?" I was like lolnope, just fake idols, and she was like "OK we're gonna get JFP paranoid and say the safe vote is Danielle." I'm like, sure, whatever, and gave her one of my fake idols. She said I was safe, but maybe I just buried myself instead. Which, whatever, if it happens it happens, at least Erik/Sean/Mike get some more time to come up with something. If all goes to plan, it'll be 6-5 or 7-5 to boot Danielle. If not, maybe I go out that door, or Mike does, or even Sean. But I wanted to do SOMETHING this round, even if it's only keep a more interesting person around. And hey, if they don't listen to her, maybe that shatters trust and she flips w/ us to vote JFP...A MAN CAN DREAM OK?!

I am INCREDIBLY pissed right now. I knew one of our side was leaving, but there was a plan in the works to save Mike and boot the useless Danielle, who literally no one from our side talks to. I had a fake idol ready, Steph was gonna use it to flip the vote onto Danielle because we would never idol her. So I log off, take a nap, come back on, and Mike’s gone. I go to Steph and ask what happened, and she tells me she showed my screenshot in the groupchat and proposed the plan, but Alexis shot it down. Why? Oh, because I told the plan to Erik, and he spilled EVERYTHING to her. So the vote stayed on Mike, and one of the better fucking players left in 11th because Erik is a weasel. Like, I get why he did it - he’s trying to curry favor with the majority for the seemingly inevitable JFP blindside, and trying to survive til its ready to happen. (Most likely Final 9) But that doesn’t mean he ain’t a rat bastard - he screwed over one of our closest allies, the person we’re trying to work over moving forward, and the lovable rogue known only as The Bruiser. An inactive we can’t really use as a number stayed, which limits our long-term options, and she’s almost certainly staying this round, so odds are me, Sean, or the rat king himself are leaving. Fan-fucking-tastic. I feel kinda like Natalie from SJDS - my closest ally just got the boot, but I need to work with the guy who caused it. Hell, my situation is even more dire, considering I’m in the minority - I really can’t afford to just cut Erik off at this point. But, if he goes this round, I’ll be smiling the whole time - and let it be known, I’ll do everything in my power to make sure he’s not the last one standing. Count on it. This round, I’m doing everything to ingratiate myself to the majority. I think Sean is the target, but if he wins immunity it could shift to me. Thankfully Erik and Sean seem to be blowing up their games in the main chat over stupid shit (which OK whatever go fur it) so I’m just chatting up Linds, Steph, Alexis, that whole crowd. Maybe likability can carry me a bit further, god willing. Incidentally Lindsey is a sweetheart, and I’ll end the confessional with this:

All these people in the majority saying OH THIS VOTE WILL BE CHAOTIC at TC and I'm like, fuck off. We all know exactly what's gonna happen. It's gonna be a 6-4 vote, and either myself, Erik, Sean, or maaaaaaaybe Danielle will be heading out. I've considered scrambling to the Lindsey's and Stephanie's of the world, but they're not dumb - now is not the time to make a move. Take out one of the Three Arsenio's and you have a hell of a lot more room to maneuver going forward. So, Operation: Be Endearing, not Annoying, is a-go. I'm hoping they don't see me as some smart under the radar manipulator, but dead fishing is the best way I see getting through this round. Erik and Sean are going full OTT, and maybe people will think they're dumber and go for me - more likely though, they'll get irritated and boot one of them, especially since they're seemingly the more obvious threats.
I really don't think there's a way to flip the vote this round. JFP is the fucking hardest person to talk to on the face of the planet, because he talks in the most roundabout goddamn way, not to mention he takes forever to respond. I get where's he coming from, given his position in the game, but c'mon man your just setting yourself up for a mid-jury boot. Been there, done that. The warning signs are OBVIOUS. So if he's gonna play like that, I'm just gonna wait til Final 9 (provided I get there) and try to shake things up. I'll keep throwing my vote at him til either I leave or he does, cuz fuck it it's amusing if nothing else, and makes my groups intentions pretty damn obvious.

I'm confused, maybe I'm going, maybe I'm staying. Had a long chat with Alexis where I threw a ton of shit at the wall, and I'm not really sure if it worked or not, but for better or worse I feel like I made an impression. I honestly don't know for sure, but fuck it, lets roll the dice. I feel I've done what I can at this point. If I go, it's been real.

Made a loooooooong pitch to LJ. I'll post it here if Gyazo stops being an ass, but he seemed responsive, and I showed it to Sean and he agreed. Incidentally, Sean also asked me point blank if I'm from Britain and I copped to it and explained my reasoning - he seemed fine w/ it, and said he thinks he knows who I am. Which is kinda funny cause I'm half convinced he's this one dude I know, got final juror in my series, but definitely not positive on it.
