My first major bit of news in the game, and it's a good one. Sean actually reached out to me and, though we weren't being too direct about it, said "But hey, brother to brother, if we do lose, let's neither one of us go home, yeah?" and punctuated everything with a "heh heh" so now i think that whenever we end our sentence with a heh heh, thats a heads up that, hey, this guy wants to talk strategy and stop shooting the shit. So unless Sean is off the rails and making deals with everyone, I think we're a solid pair that should have each other's backs for a while. I'll still slit his throat Day 38 if I have to, but now is the time to get in good with the people you feel you can work with and ride that very very far.
So anyways, I asked Sean if he wanted to extend the "letting neither one of us go home" gesture to anyone else on our tribe. His first suggestion was Greg, which I'm not big on, and I told him that Greg can't be trusted. I suggested Dave, and Sean was interested enough in that one, so I approached Dave and beat around the bush until I was able to tell him that me and Sean want to bring him on board. And Dave seemed down, too, so unless I'm being played on Day 1, we could have a strong near-majority alliance to pull us through to the merge. Sean and I briefly discussed getting Lil's vote as well, but now is not the time to overplay. I definitely like the start I'm off to.
