Sometimes, votes are clean-cut. Sometimes, tribes can be as happy as a gaggle of unicorns and unanimously vote somebody out without any kind of issue. Not today.
Apparently, somebody on our tribe found an Idol in the Rice Box. We all sort of played detective to figure out who it was. At this point, I feel like absolutely anybody could be lying. Erik says he doesn't have it - I believe him more than the others, but he was still pretty defensive, which leaves the question in the air. Sean genuinely didn't seem to have it, and I believe him more than anybody. Greg is sketchy as fuck. I wouldn't be surprised if he has it, but if he does, he's hoarding it for his own personal gain right now. Dave hasn't been online enough to have found the Idol...
Then there's Eliza...
Basically, the whole tribe was in agreement to vote her out. Then we learned of the variable that she may very well have a hidden immunity idol. Oh snapz son. We debated things for awhile about splitting votes. Everyone seemed kind of iffy about it for awhile, but then the truth hit me. If Eliza indeed has an Idol, and she's indeed gunning for me (Erik and Greg have told similar stories), why should anyone else care? They're out of the line of fire and they're not the one going home...
So really, the question of throwing out a single vote to combat Eliza's comes down to me. Who do I vote for? Seriously, I've built a good rapport with almost ever other member of the tribe, and it really sucks to have to choose with target to hit. Logic tells me Erik. He's the only one who's not in the larger alliance that we devised earlier. My heart tells me Greg - he's probably the one I've spoken to the least out of anybody. Regardless, I'm in a predicament here and I'm still not entirely convinced that Eliza has the Idol. I mean...why would she scramble so much if she could just calmly play an Idol at Tribal and vote one of us out? Reverse psychology? Well, it's having quite the opposite effect at this point..
I think I'm going to throw a vote to Dave. I feel like he'd be the most understanding out of everyone, since he hasn't been online very much. If Eliza really has the Idol, then I have just as much power as she does - because whoever she votes for (as long as nobody aligns with her) is going to be a single vote just like mine.
Really, if Eliza plays an Idol, and there's no outside interference from Dave, Greg, Erik, or Sean (who all vote for Eliza), I could single-handedly decide which one of them goes home. I told Erik I wasn't going to split the vote. I told Sean I was probably going for Dave. I think I told Greg I was going for Erik. Dave hasn't been online...so really, I just have to cross my fingers at this point.
I could be first boot. I could be forced to vote out of one my allies to survive. I could also be stuck with Eliza, who's not going to be happy if she makes second round...
Meh...
I'll figure it out.
